With
full-width sample rates to
500
Mega Samples /Sec (500MHz)
, LogicPort fills the void
between
expensive analysers with many channels, and inexpensive analysers with
few channels or limited sample rates.
The
LogicPort provides
34
sampled channels
including two clock inputs. Its
clock inputs function as normal sampled channels when not used as
state-mode clocks.
The
LogicPort USB Logic Analyser is controlled and powered via your
PC's
USB 1.1 or 2.0
port for the ultimate in convenience and
portability.
Features
include
multi-level
trigger capability
,
qualified
state-mode sampling
with adjustable setup/hold window,
selectable
logic sense and
threshold
, built-in interpreters for I2C, SPI and
RS232 protocols, and
much more.
The
built-in interpreters for
I2C, SPI, PS/2, RS232, RS485
and some other protocols are an extremely useful feature, commonly only
found in much more expensive analysers. They mean that instead of only
seeing lots of bits going up and down, you can read actual serial
traffic and then see what other bits were changing in relation to or in
response to this
serial data. See the screen display above for example.
The
LogicPort's
advanced
trigger features
allow it to trigger on simple or
complex sequences of edges, patterns and bus numerical
ranges, as well
as on specified pattern, count, range or pulse durations.
You'll
find the LogicPort's software to be feature-rich, yet simple to
use. Visit
Intronix's
downloads
page
to try the free software for yourself. The installation
includes several real-world examples of actual acquired data. All
samples can of course be saved to disk for future analysis but there is
also the possibility of sending the data to someone-else, who only
needs the software to view the data exactly as you captured it. You can
also append notes to the file.
If
you have never used a logic analyzer, you will be amazed at how much
more
information you can see than with an oscilliscope! Get to the bottom of
your development problems much quicker.
Compare
the
LogicPort's specifications
to those of logic analysers
costing thousands more. With its fast sample rates, advanced trigger
capabilities and real-time sample compression, LogicPort gives the big
guys a run for their money!
